It is a debatable point whether The Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC) in MUMBAI is among the most demanding championship courses in India. The members and those who have played here believe that BPGC is a morale breaker and is among the best we have in the country today . Although short by modern standards, it is an unforgiving golf course abounding in pitfalls too numerous to describe. Many of the visiting “Brimming with confidence “ low handicap golfers who have played BPGC off the tournament tees have returned to the clubhouse chastened and wiser golfers.
